Yay expedition content! 🤩 So many great stories up your sleeve, the words and images are so vivid! (thankfully no odour at all! 😄)
Also great to see your plan around working on research, Substack and Danish. Would be keen to hear how that goes! (are you practicing Danish on Duolingo? 😅)
Well, so far, not much is happening "planned" around research, Substack and Danish. It is all swallowed by final stage moving chaos and the things that life throws at us out of nowhere 🤣
For Danish, I mainly use Babbel at the moment...never really was a fan of Duolingo tbh.
I loved learning about the walrus and seeing your pictures! So fascinating! I never really thought about how they smelled just from looking at them in pictures, but now that you mention it, they do look like smelly animals. 😂
I also watched the new season of Emily in Paris! ✨
Oh nooo, not the beloved Nutribullet! ❤️🩹 I know the tragic feeling losing a favorite kitchen appliance unexpectedly. My recent loss was a pan that I loved. 🫠
Hahaha, I also think they look like smelly animals - exactly like elephant seals (but I have not researched yet if they are this smelly, too).
Did not manage to start watching Emily in Paris yet. But it might actually be a good thing to download them all and wait for my long-distance flight in September...
Yeah, it is especially hard if your kitchen appliance fuels a very beloved dish. But well, thank you Amazon, we got Mr. Nutribullet 2.0. And I overheard Sven making an honest promise to him that he would never ever feed him with a metal spoon again 🤣
I really enjoyed the walrus story it was lovely and light to read, transporting me back to Svalbard. : )
I was thinking about you when writing it 🥰 Hope you are doing all well!
The walrus slander! Majestic but smelly is a pretty good reputation I suppose
I assume they do not give a fck anyway 🤣
Walruses are so cool!! They look like tampons but with alot of wrinkles and 2 terrifying protruding teeths.
Oh dear, my brain comes up with a lot of associations, but this one never crossed my mind 🤣! Thanks for reading!

I am so glad the technology to transmit smell via Substack hasn’t been developed yet, though your writing certainly paints a vivid picture 🤣
So true! Hahaha, well, you mean, my writing casted a certain sense of smell? 🤣
It was interesting and funny reading about walruses, especially the stoicism part.
Glad you enjoyed it. I am a bit split-minded if I find this kind of stoicism inspirational 🤣 at least not taking it literal 🤣
😂😂😂
I never knew Walruses were so stinky :)
Me neither…but apparently, they are 🤣
Hahaha the story made me laugh out loud! I loved it 😍 and I loved the real postcard and meeting you IRL ❤️❤️
I am super happy I could put multiple smiles on your face this week! 🥰
Big smile ☺️😄
